Broadband connection also made communication faster and better. Instead of the usual emails or chat, now you can call another Yahoo Messenger user with your own YM and instead of spending 5 mins chatting you can now covered all of that in 1 minute of PC to PC call. Cheaper too because instead of calling your friend from another country through regular landline that cost so much, now you can just call a friend in Europe for just 2 cents a minute using VoIP.
